Ashley Williams brought in to replace Stones.

Everton boss Ronald Koeman has acted quickly to replace John Stones after the England international completed his much awaited move to Manchester City, with the arrival of Swansea City captain Ashley Williams for £12 million. It was revealed last week that Swansea had rejected an initial bid of £10 million for the Welsh centre back. Many people expected Everton to turn their attentions to Sunderland defender Lamine Kone as it was speculated that David Moyes' side had received an offer in the region of £17 million for the former Lorient centre half. Swansea also yesterday lost Ghanaian forward Andre Ayew to West Ham for £20 million. It now looks as if Swansea have found their replacement after they have reached an agreement in the region of £15 million for Spanish striker Borja Baston with Atletico Madrid. Baston netted 18 times for Eibar last season while on loan from Diego Simeone's side.
