Manchester City bring in exciting forward Gabriel Jesus for £27 million

Pep Guardiola's spending spree at new club Manchester City has continued today with the signing of 19 year old Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus from Palmeires for £27 million. Jesus is expected to finish the remainder of the season with Palmeires before linking up with his new teammates in January. The Brazilian netted 19 times in 30 appearances last season for Palmeires and has also attracted interest from FC Barcelona as they tried to link him up with compatriot, Neymar. Jesus becomes another high profile City signing joining young German winger Letoy Sané from Schalke, Nolito from Celta Vigo and Ilkay Gündogan from Borussia Dortmund. Guardiola looks set to add Everton defender John Stones later on this week as the rebuild at The Etihad continues.
