UFC 204: Press Conference

With Michael Bisping set for his first UFC Middleweight title defence against former foe Dan Henderson in his home town Manchester, both men met in the Marquee Ballroom at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The official Facebook page teased at a special 'announcement' during the press conference as many fans speculated what the announcement could be. Dan Henderson promised he would retire after this bout regardless if he won, lost or drew with Bisping. Both men featured on the UFC 100 card with Dan Henderson delivering one of the deadliest knockouts we've ever seen and follow up with an almost diving punch while Bisping was on the mat. UFC Vice President Dave Scholler told how it looked like 'Ireland had arrived today' to supper there man in tomorrow's UFC 202 main event, Conor McGregor. Michael Bisping told how Dan Henderson was on TRT for their fight and told USADA to test Henderson and Vitor Belfort. The MGM was takeover by Irish fans as they cheered for Conor McGregor. Ariel Helwani asked Bisping if he believes the claims that Henderson would retire and Bisping told how he wouldn't beat him and was 'a one trick pony'. Bisping told how Chris Weidman should be embarrassed that he got finished by Luke Rockhold and told him to take a long hard look at himself in the mirror. Henderson was then questioned about his knockout victory over Hector Lombard and told how 'stars aligned' that night. Henderson then confirmed for certain that he had 'no desire' to continue and how he only wanted the belt. Michael Bisping then told how he was 'over trained' for his first fight against Henderson. Bisping told how he would finish him in the later rounds after picking him apart in the opening rounds. Dan Henderson told how the 'mental tax' was tough on him and it was making training camps difficult. Bisping told how he plans to keep the belt for a 'long, long' time. Dave Scholler told how UFC 202 would be one of the 'top 5 gates in UFC history'.Bisping told how he would welcome a fight with Georges St-Pierre and he said 'yeah why not'. Scholler then squared them off as both men shook hands.
