Bellator MMA capture BJJ star Dillon Danis:

Grappling ace Danis finally makes the switch to MMA.
Grappling genius Dillon Danis, has finally made his long awaited plunge into the world of mixed martial-arts, after it was revealed that American organisation Bellator had agreed to sign the New York based star. At just 23 years of age, Danis is a IBJJF world champion and a Marcelo Garcia black belt, and to the majority of MMA fans, recognisable due to his presence in UFC Lightweight champion Conor McGregor's camp, particularly for the Dublin's native rematch against Nate Diaz, where he proved to be an hugely integral training partner for 'The Notorious', as he was brought in to combat Stockton born Diaz's black belt level grappling. Danis is said to be planning a stint in the Welterweight division where fellow black belt Kevin Casey resides, but an adventure at 155lbs, could see matchups against Adam Piccolotti, Ryan Quinn, Brett Primus or Patricky 'Pitbull' Freire await for the grappling star.
