NSAC significantly reduce Conor McGregor's fine following UFC 202 fiasco:

Mayweather V McGregor just got a whole lot more believable.
The Nevada State Athletic Comission, have today announced, they have decided to reduce current UFC Lightweight champion Conor McGregor's $150,000 fine to just $25,000, and his originally issued 50 hour period of community service, to a much more reasonable 25 hours. The fine stems from McGregor's rematch against Nate Diaz at UFC 202, where upon, both Dublin star McGregor and Stockton son Diaz, engaged in a hugely controversial bottle throwing incident, ignited by the latter. Diaz was prompted off the stage at the pre-fight press conference by older brother Nick, after McGregor had arrived late, as ever. Taking to the gantry, Diaz began hurling water bottles towards McGregor's entourage, sat among the surrounding media, including his long time partner Dee Devlin, coach John Kavanagh and recently signed Bellator grappler Dillion Danis. The often outspoken Irishman responded, launching his water bottle toward Diaz, before reaching for two Monster Energy cans, much to the argument of UFC President Dana White, after 'The Notorious' sent them into the fray as well. At an October hearing by the NSAC, McGregor was issued a hefty fine and a significant community service sentence from then outgoing commissioner Pat Lundvall, much to the outcry from many in the MMA community, and many respected journalists. In my opinion, the considerable reduction in the fine, may pave the way for a less reluctant McGregor to accept, thus opening the door for the SBG star to apply for a second boxing license in the state of Nevada, after his application in California, and then, really setting the ball rolling for a Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor super fight in September, at the T-Mobile area in the fight capital that is Las Vegas.
