Marlon Vera upsets Brad Pickett with head kick finish:

An emotional Brad Pickett retires on his shield.
After Henry Briones was forced from Brad Pickett's retirement bout a UFC Fight Night London, Marlon Vera bravely put his name forward to save 'One Punch{es}' "last dance". The short notice of the replacement, forced a Catchweight contest, but nevertheless, Brad has his retirement fight. At 38 years of age, Pickett has a huge win over current P4P #1 Demetrious Johnson, and is a submission specialist.

Vera opened well with a body kick at the start of the first, while Brad missed with a right hand. A huge slam from 'One Punch' produced a huge cheer from the crowd, before a good right hand found the mark for Pickett. A big knee landed for Vera, before a good left hook dropped the Ecuador native for a moment. Vera was finding a home for those body kicks, before a good right hand caught Vera.
First round to Brad.

The second round began with a good knee from Marlon Vera, as Pickett plodded forward looking to progress. After some good reading of the situation, Pickett secured another big double leg slam. In Vera's closed guard, Brad was throwing down some big elbows. Back on the feet, Vera landed some good leg kicks, before Pickett closed the distance looking to land that big right hand shot. Another round to 'One Punch'.

The final round began with a good head kick from Vera, and then a flying knee landed clean for the Ecuadorean. Vera's volume in this final round was phenomenal, not allowing Pickett a chance to engage. With just over 2 minutes remaining in the final round, Vera uncorked a big left head kick, dropping Pickett, and then hammer fists, ruined the night for 'One Punch'.
