Renato Moicano Out, Magomed Mustafaev Now Meets Mateusz Gamrot On October 17th.

Brazilian all-rounder, Renato Moicano has been forced out of his would-be second lightweight appearance in the Octagon at a UFC Fight Night event on October 17th. - with the returning, Magomed Mustafaev now clashing with KSW lightweight titleholder, promotional debutante, Mateusz 'Gamer' Gamrot.

According to a report from Brazilian outlet, Ag Fight - Moicano who plys his trade at American Top Team in Coconut Creek, Florida - is unable to leave the United States for his pairing with Mustafaev at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, UAE , resulting in his removal from the card.

Hoping to return to the win column, 32-year-old finisher, Mustafaev dropped his second UFC loss in February at UFC Fight Night Auckland, finding himself on the wrong side of a close split decision loss to Brad Riddell. 

Undefeated Pole, Gamrot notched his seventeenth professional victory at KSW 54 in August - taking a unanimous decision win over Martin Ziółkowski on home soil. His October 'Fight Island' outing opposite Mustafaev will mark his long-awaited UFC debut. News of Gamrot's short-notice arrival to the promotion was first reported by MMA Junkie reporters, Farah Hannoun and Dave Doyle.

3-2 in the UFC since his arrival in the organization back in 2015 - Dagestan native, Mustafaev has secured promotional triumphs opposite Piotr Hallman, Jor Proctor, and Tiger Muay Thai ace, Rafael Fiziev - in between a defeat to one-time interim lightweight title challenger, Kevin Lee, and his judging loss to Riddell. From fourteen professional wins, Mustafaev has grabbed ten knockouts and four submissions. 

Twice standing opposite UFC alum, Norman Parke during his time with KSW - Gamrot developed a notable rivalry with the Bushmills native. The well-rounded 17-0 (1) newcomer has made a massive impact during his time on the European circuit, and has forever been linked with an eventual transition to the UFC.
