Report: Patrício Pitbull vs. Pedro Carvalho Rebooked For Bellator Event on November 12th.

A featherweight title pairing of two-weight world champion, Patrício 'Pitbull' Freire, and streaking contender, Pedro Carvalho has been rescheduled for a Bellator event on November 12th. - from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.
Freire and Carvalho were originally scheduled to meet at Bellator 241 in March earlier this year, with the pairing and the entire showcase shelved amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Brazilian phenom, Freire looks to score the fourth successful defence of his latest featherweight title reign - following a unanimous decision win over recently minted bantamweight best, Juan 'The Spaniard' Archuleta at Bellator 228 in September last year in the opening round of the Bellator Featherweight Grand Prix.
Straight Blast Gym mainstay, Carvalho looks to score gold in his first promotional title tilt, following his transition to Bellator back in April of 2018. Riding a six-fight win streak, the Portuguese finisher managed a submission win over Sam Sicilia at Bellator 226 also in September of last year. News of the reworked featherweight title matching was intially reported by MMA Fighting reporter, Guilherme Cruz.
Natal native, Freire is the younger brother of fellow Bellator mainstay, Patricky 'Pitbull' - and has amassed an eye-catching 30-4 professional record. The renowned knockout and submission threat has notched high-profile promotional wins over the likes of recent UFC signing, Michael Chandler, Daniel Weichel (x2), Daniel Straus (x3), Henry Corrales, former UFC feature, Wilson Reis, and Georgi Karakhanyan.
11-3 as a professional, Dublin-based all-rounder Carvalho has blitzed through his competition during his brief stint under the Bellator banner. Debuting with a split decision win over Daniel Crawford, the 25-year-old managed to score further vicrtories over Luca Vitali, and Derek Campos.
