A middleweight matchup between Bellator mainstay, Will Fleury, and dangerous striker, Kent 'The Hammerhorn' Kauppinen is on deck for a Bellator Milan event on September 26th. in Milan, Italy.
Straight Blast Gym Ireland mainstay, Fleury hopes to make it two straight wins under the Bellator banner, following a submission victory over Justin Moore at Bellator 240 in February this year. The Tipperary native has featured five times under the promotion's scrutiny, following a brief excursion under the Brave Combat Federation banner back in March 2018.
11-5 challenger, Kauppinen last featured at Bellator London in November last - rebounding from a unanimous decision defeat to decorated veteran, Melvin Manhoef - to score a forearm choke victory over Andy Manzolo.
31-year-old all-rounder, Fleury hold a 7-3 professional résumé - scoring notable victories over John Redmond, Tarek Suleiman, Shaun Taylor, and Antonio Jones, to go with his previously mentioned finish of Moore in Dublin earlier this year.
Dropping his Bellator debut, the Cahir feature suffered a 2018 opening round knockout loss to Alen Amedovski, before seeing his two-fight rise snapped by brief teammate, Norbert Novenyi Jr. in September last year on home soil.
London based 28-year-old, Kauppinen featured four times between 2018 and last year, - competing professionally as a boxer in between walks to the promotion's cage. In a notable career win, Kauppinen has bested former UFC feature, Rome native Alessio Sakara in his second appearance with the organization.
