Antonina Shevchenko vs. Ariane Lipski Added to UFC 255 on November 21st.

An interesting flyweight matchup between, Antonina 'La Pantera' Shevchenko, and Ariane 'Violence Queen' Lipski has been set for UFC 255 on November 21st. - with a location and venue yet to be determined by the promotion.

Antonina, the older sister of current division champion, Valentina - is looking to return to the win column, following a defeat to one-time title challenger, Katlyn 'Blonde Fighter' Chookagian at UFC Fight Night Vegas in June.

Former KSW flyweight titleholder, Lipski has won two straight - featuring at a UFC Fight Night event on 'Fight Island' in July, securing a highlight-reel kneebar victory over compatriot, Luana Carolina. News of the flyweight battle was initially reported by AgFight reporter, Diego Ribas.

Dana White's Contender Series product, Shevchenko has amassed a 2-2 promotional record since her signing with the organization back in late 2018. Initially debuting with success, Shevchenko scored a unanimous decision victory over Ji Yeon Kim, before dropping a decision of her own opposite veteran fan-favourite, Roxanne Modafferi last April.

Momentarily returning to winning ways, the 35-year-old Kyrgyzstan native would secure a rear-naked choke victory over Lucie Pudilová - prior to June's grappling shutout defeat to Chookagian. From ten professional outings, Shevchenko has notched an 8-2 résumé.

Finally hitting the ground running in the promotion, Parana native, Lipski had notched two consecutive victories, following a string of two straight losses in her first and second Octagon appearances. In two unanimous decision defeats, the 26-year-old dropped losses to perennial contender, Joanne Calderwood, and Liverpudlian favourite, 'Meatball' Molly McCann.

In a unanimous judging win of her own, Lipski scored a decision victory over Isabela de Pádua - before July's kneebar submission success against the aforenoted, Carolina.
