Report: Roosevelt Roberts vs. Matt Frevola Reworked For UFC Vegas on September 12th.

A lightweight contest between Roosevelt 'The Predator' Roberts and Matt 'The Steamrolla' Frevola has been rescheduled for UFC Fight Night Vegas on September 12th. - from the UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas. Nevada.

Roberts and Frevola were initially scheduled to meet at a UFC Fight Night Lincoln event in April until the entire card was shelved amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Miami upstart, Roberts last featured at UFC Fight Night Vegas in June, dropping an armbar submission loss to lightweight veteran, Jim Miller - snapping his two-fight winning run in the process.

Fellow Dana White's Contender Series alumnus, Frevola will make his first UFC appearance since October of last year, where he managed a close split judging victory over Luis Peña at UFC Fight Night Tampa. Frevola announced the pairing on his official Instagram account.

Making his Octagon debut in November of 2018 - Roberts has featured six times under the promotion's banner, scoring a 4-2 organizational record. In victories, the Floridian has bested the likes of Brok Weaver, Alexander Yakovlev, Thomas Gifford, and Darrell Horcher. Along with his prior noted defeat to Miller - the Brazilian Jiu-Jitu brown belt dropped a unanimous judging to Vinc Pinchel back at UFC Fight Night Minneapolis last June.

A ten fight professional veteran, Frevola has managed a 2-1-1 promotional record since his first Octagon walk back at UFC Fight Night St. Louis back in January of 2018. The 30-year-old New York native has picked up Octagon victories over Jalin Turner, and the aforenoted, Peña. Prior to his winning streak, Frevola battled to a majority draw against Lando Vannata and suffered a first-round knockout to Marco Polo Reyes.
