Bellator MMA has cemented the future of undefeated flyweight upstart, Valerie 'Master' Loureda - with the 22-year-old putting pen to paper on a new, multi-fight, multi-year contract with the Scott Coker led organization.
Per a press release from the promotion, Loureda has extended her contract under the promotion's banner, pledging her future after a run of three straight wins since her professional bow back in February of last year.
The American Top Team trainee commented on her intentions to continue her path to the flyweight title, which is currently held by Hawaiian favourite, Ilima-Lei Macfarlane.
"I am pleased to have re-signed with Bellator," Loureda explained. "As I have always said, I am here to show the world the true martial artist that I am and chase the flyweight belt. I was born for this, I am a natural-born fighter."
The news of Loureda's contract extension comes hot on the tail of her recent success opposite Tara Graff last weekend at Bellator 243 - where the Floridian moved to 3-0 with a ground-and-pound stoppage before the culmination of the second frame.
Loureda's victory over Graff comes off the back of prior triumphs when faced with Larkyn Dasch, and Colby Fletcher last annum.
