A bantamweight bout between Brazil's, Vanessa Melo, and Canadian finisher, Sarah 'Cheesecake' Moras is set for a UFC event on November 8th. - with a location or venue yet to be determined by the organization.

Melo, 32, will look to finally get off the mark under the UFC's banner, following a string of three defeats. The Taboao De Serra native last featured at a UFC Fight Night event on 'Fight Island' in July - dropping a unanimous decision defeat to compatriot, Karol Rosa.

British Columbia all-rounder, Moras dropped her last outing in the Octagon - appearing at UFC Fight Night Jacksonville in May, finding herself on the wrong side of a unanimous judging against Sijara Eubanks. Sources close to Ross Markey MMA confirmed the matchup, requesting anonymity in the process as the promotion are yet to officially announce the tie - following an initial report from MMA Fighting reporters, Guilherme Cruz and Mike Heck.

Tipping the scales in two of her three UFC appearances, Melo suffered her first loss in five professional outings when paired with perennial bantamweight challenger, Irene Aldana in her premier organizational bout back at UFC Fight Night Mexico City last September.

In between her losses to Aldana and the aforenoted, Rosa - Melo faltered against fellow Brazilian, Tracy Cortez in a unanimous decision defeat at UFC Fight Night São Paulo last November. Prior to her three-fight stint in the UFC - Melo had grasped notable career triumphs over veteran striker, Jan Finney, and current flyweight challenger, 'Meatball' Molly McCann.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt, Moras certainly has a knack for notching a submission win - six separate times professionally in fact. The eight-bout UFC mainstay has managed a 3-5 promotional record, with wins coming opposite Alexis Dufresne, Ashlee Evans-Smith, and Liana Jojua - in between defeats to former strawweight best, Jéssica Andrade, and TUF victor, Macy Chiasson of note.
