Brandon Moreno vs. Alex Perez Slated for UFC 255 on November 21st.

A high stakes potential flyweight title eliminator between former LFA 125-pound best, Brandon 'The Assassin Baby' Moreno, and Alex Perez has been added to UFC 255 on November 21st. - with a location and venue still yet to be determined by the promotion.
In the midst of his second Octagon stint, Tijuana upstart, Moreno looks to extend his winning run to three fights, following a unanimous decision triumph over perennial contender, Jussier Formiga at UFC Fight Night Brasília in March.
Team Oyama mainstay, Perez also made his last Octagon appearance opposite, Formiga - scoring a devastating first-round stoppage via a foray of damaging calf kicks in their June UFC 250 meeting. News of the important flyweight tie was initially reported by Milenio's, Carlos Contreras Legaspi.
With a combined promotional record of 6-2-1 from his two stints with the UFC, 26-year-old submission ace, Moreno currently sits at #2 in the official flyweight stack, behind recent title challenger, Joseph Benavidez. In his return to the Octagon following aforenoted LFA success, Moreno faced then promotional debutante, former ACB titleholder, Askar Askarov - battling to a split draw at UFC Fight Night Mexico City last October.
In notable career wins, Moreno has bested the likes of the previously mentioned, common foe, Formiga, Kai Kara-France, Louis Smolka, Ryan Benoit, and Dustin Ortiz. Ten of Moreno's seventeen professional victories have come via submission.
Californian contender, Perez will feature in the Octagon for the eighth time already, following prior success on Dana White's Contenders Series back in August of 2017. The 28-year-old has notched an incredible 6-1 organizational run, with his only blemish in that period coming opposite the aforementioned, Benavidez.
Adding Formiga to his winning résumé last time out, the owner of twelve finishes - has also overcome notable names such as Jordan Espinosa, Mark de la Rosa, Eric Shelton, and Jose 'Shorty' Torres.
Incidentally, Moreno and Perez will share the UFC 255 card with headliners, Deiveson Figueiredo, and former bantamweight best, Cody Garbrandt who meet for undisputed flyweight gold in the November event's curtain closer.
