Report: Bryce Mitchell vs. Andre Fili Slated For UFC Event on October 31st.

An intriguing featherweight pairing between submission specialist, Bryce 'Thug Nasty' Mitchell, and division mainstay, Andre 'Touchy' Fili has been booked for a UFC Fight Night event on October 31st. - with a location or venue for the card yet to be determined.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, Mitchell has won four straight since his appearance on The Ultimate Fighter: Undefeated - scoring a unanimous decision win over fellow grappler, Charles Rosa at a UFC Fight Night Jacksonville event in May.

Team Alpha MMA mainstay, Fili returned to the winner's enclosure in his last outing at a UFC Fight Night Vegas outing in June - taking a close split decision win over Canadian prospect, Charles Jourdain. News of the interesting 145-pound pairing was initially reported by MMA Junkie'sMike Bohn and Farah Hannoun.

Hoping to don his camouflage shorts for the first time in his four-fight Octagon stint - Arkansas native, Mitchell also attempts to shoot up the featherweight rankings, currently sitting at #15 in the official pile.

Prior to his aforenoted win over Jourdain, Mitchell has managed decision wins over Tyler Diamond and, Bobby Moffet - before securing an incredible twister victory over Matt Sayles at UFC Fight Night D.C. last December. From thirteen professional triumphs, the 25-year-old has landed nine separate submission wins.

A fifteen fight UFC veteran -  30-year-old Washington native, Fili has shared the Octagon with the likes of former champion, Max Holloway, as well as surging featherweight contenders, Yair Rodríguez, and Calvin Kattar.

In notable victories, the twelve fight finisher has bested the likes of Dennis Bermudez, Hacran Dias, Artem Lobov, Gabriel Benítez, Myles Jury, and Sheymon Moraes since his promotional debut back in October 2013 at UFC 166.

The October 31st. Halloween event is scheduled to be headlined by a reworked middleweight pairing between former division titleholder, Anderson 'The Spider' Silva, and surging TUF finalist, Uriah 'Primetime' Hall.
