Report: Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Cody Garbrandt Headlines UFC 255 on November 21st.

A flyweight title fight between reigning titleholder, Deiveson 'Daico' Figueiredo, and former bantamweight best, Cody 'No Love' Garbrandt will serve as the main event of UFC 255 on November 21st. - with a location and venue yet to be confirmed by the promotion.
125-pound kingpin, Figueiredo finally notched championship gold in July on 'Fight Island' - scoring a stunning, dominant rear-naked choke victory over multiple time challenger, Joseph Benavidez in a rematch of their UFC Fight Night Norfolk headliner earlier this annum.
Making his divisional bow, one-time 135-pound champion, Garbrandt, scored his first victory after a slew of three knockout losses - with a klaxon-beating Knockout of the Year contender against Raphael Assunção at UFC 250 in June. News of the anticipated flyweight title meeting was first reported by ESPN writer, Brett Okamoto.
Pará all-rounder, Figueiredo launched a one-sided display on his way to Octagon title success last month, dropping Benavidez on three separate occasions on the feet, before choking out the Texan with a slick rear-naked choke.
The victory marked the fourth consecutive win for the 32-year-old, with prior finishes coming opposite Benavidez again, and one-time title challenger, Tim Elliott - before a unanimous judging win over compatriot, Alexandre Pantoja.
Returning to winning ways under the tutelage of Mark Henry in New Jersey, Ohio striker, Garbrandt put bantamweight woes behind him with his shocking stoppage of Brazilian mainstay, Assunção last month.
Prior to the knockout win, an overzealous Garbrandt had dropped a trio of knockout losses against Pedro Munhoz, and two championship defeats against arch-rival and former Team Alpha MMA stablemate, T.J. Dillashaw.
