A flyweight matchup between Cortney 'Cast Iron' Casey, and Priscila 'Pedrita' Cachoeira has been added to a UFC Fight Night event on October 31st. - with a location and venue for the card still yet to be determined by the organization.

Seventeen fight veteran, Casey attempts to return to winning ways, following a late rear-naked choke loss to division prospect, Gillian 'The Savage' Robertson at UFC Fight Night Vegas in June.

Rio de Janeiro native, Cachoeira will look to improve her winning run to two-fights, following a knockout win over this weekend's UFC Fight Night Vegas feature, Shana Dobson inside just forty seconds. News of the tie was initially penned by Combate reporter, Raphael Marinho.

33-year-old Arizona born finisher, Casey began her year in action with a eye-catching submission win of her own. The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt submitted Italian veteran, Mara Romero Borella via an opening-frame armbar at a UFC Fight Night event in Jacksonville in May.

In other career-high victories, Casey managed another armbar win, this time against Randa 'Quiet Storm' Markos, as well decision triumphs opposite former WSOF strawweight best, Jessica Aguilar, and a close win against one-time Invicta FC 115-pound queen, Angela 'Overkill' Hill.

Tasked with welcoming future champion, Valentina 'Bullet' Shevchenko to the flyweight division upon her debut under the UFC's banner, Cachoeira dropped a brutal first-round ground-and-pound stoppage.

In a bout which garnered huge controversy, referee Mario Yamasaki was heavily criticised for his incredibly late stoppage - with Cachoeira taking unnecessary punishment. Following a pair of judging losses to the popular, Molly McCann, and compatriot, Luana Carolina - knockout artist, Cachoeira managed her first UFC triumph against the previously noted, Dobson.
