Report: Carlos Condit Returns, Meets Court McGee at UFC Event on October 3rd.

Former WEC welterweight champion, and interim UFC welterweight titleholder, Carlos 'The Natural Born Killer' Condit looks to snap a two-year hiatus from the Octagon on October 3rd. The Jackson-Wink MMA staple has been booked to meet with The Ultimate Fighter 11 winner, Court 'The Crusher' McGee. A location and venue for the event are yet to be determined by the promotion.

Albuquerque favourite, Condit will look to make his first UFC walk since UFC 232 back in December 2018 - where he dropped a second-round kimura to division mover, Michael Chiesa. Condit was scheduled to meet with Mickey Gall at UFC Fight Night D.C. in December but was forced from the tie - citing a detached retina.

Looking to bounce back from a string of two defeats, Utah native, McGee featured most recently at UFC Fight Night Boston in October last - dropping a unanimous decision to Sean Brady. Condit announced the pairing on, The Buck and Dex podcast.

Dropping losses in eight of his last ten Octagon appearances - skidding veteran, Condit looks to put prior woes firmly behind him. The 36-year-old knockout and submission threat has found himself on the wrong side of the win column recently against the likes of 'Cowboy' Oliveira, Neil Magny, Demian Maia, as well as former champions, Robbie Lawler, and Tyron Woodley.

The forty-three fight veteran has managed some real high-profile wins, however - managed to defeat the likes of fellow former WEC best, and Strikeforce titleholder, Nick Diaz, one-time challenger, Dan Hardy, former Bellator 170-pound king, Rory MacDonald, Thiago Alves, Martin Kampmann, Jake Ellenberger, and Frank Trigg to name a few.

Back in June 2010 - McGee was crowned the middleweight victor of TUF 11 - following a second-round rear-naked choke triumph over Kris McCray. Since then, McGee has amassed a 6-8 promotional record.

In arguably the most high-profile win of his career - McGee scored a close split judging win over former middleweight best, Robert 'The Reaper' Whittaker. With a 19-9 professional résumé - the 35-year-old has managed ten stoppages, five via knockout, and five via submission.
