Burnley V Everton:
Sean Dyche's Burnley hosted Ronald Koeman's Everton at Turf Moor at the 3 o' clock kickoff. Burnley were easily dispatched at Southampton last Sunday, while Everton took a point with them from the Etihad Stadium against Manchetser City last time out. The away side started well with Ross Barkley forcing Tom Heaton into early action, while summer signing Yannick Bolasie fired wide with an acrobatic effort. Everton could indeed count themselves unlucky not to have found the net even once in the first 45, with Heaton again denying Barkley, after keeping out Romelu Lukaku. Scott Arfield could count himself lucky to stay on the pitch, when he received a yellow for fouling Seamus Coleman, and later, taking out Gareth Barry. Arfield was at the heart of the opener ironically, his tame effort was palmed straight to Sam Vokes as Maarten Stekelenburg couldn't deal with the attempt, one nil to the hosts. After the break, Heaton once again kept out Barkley as Everton looked frustrated. The visitors eventually found an equaliser thought Yannick Bolasie who fired home from just inside the area. The Congolese winger then seen his cross palmed away from Lukaku by Heaton who was in splendid form. In stoppage time, Gudmundsson seen his strike cannon off the bar to fall to Arfield, who controversially grabbed the late winner with seconds to go.
