Michael Bisping v Dan Henderson: What will go down.

The main event of UFC 204 sees a Middleweight title bout between Michael Bisping and veteran mixed martial artist, Dan Henderson. Bisping claimed the title from Luke Rockhold back at UFC 199, shocking the MMA community as he knocked out the American in the first round to win his first ever UFC Championship. The original main event would see the rematch between Luke Rockhold and former foe Chris Weidman, who Rockhold stopped back at UFC 194, but a late neck injury to Weidman seen the 'All American' pull out of the fight. With the co-main event looking in doubt, Dana White and Joe Silva handed the title bout to Michael Bisping to set up a second bout between the pair. Bisping was fresh off a controversial split decision win over Anderson 'The Spider' Silva in his home town in Manchester, while higher ranked Middleweights Ronaldo 'Jacare' Souza was injured after his victory over Vitor Belfort and Cuban Wrestler, Yoel Romero violated the USADA anti doping policy. Bisping was finally given a title opportunity and he made good on it, beating an over confident, arrogant Luke Rockhold. On the same card, former foe Dan Henderson battled Hector Lombard, scoring a vicious elbow strike KO. So with both Bisping and Henderson winning, and there heated rivalry from UFC 100 still at large, Bisping wanted the chance to avenge his loss to the MMA icon. The bout was then setup for UFC 204 in Manchester, England, but has had it's fair share of criticism. Many fans question how the #13 ranked Henderson can leapfrog the whole top 10, just because Bisping wants revenge. Henderson has also made the claim that he will retire from the sport, win lose or draw against Bisping, so a title win wouldn't be a bad way to bow out. Henderson's main threat to Bisping in their rematch has to be his wrestling and the 'H-Bomb'. The former Olympian has a tremendous wrestling background, and has legitimate one punch knockout power. Bisping knows all too well of Henderson's power as when the pair met at UFC 100, Henderson uncorked a bomb with sent 'The Count' to the mat before he delivered a shocking forearm to make sure of the result. Bisping proved his own knockout power when he dropped Anderson Silva on his way to a split decision win, and also when he stopped Rockhold in their second bout. An interesting aspect to this fight could be the right eye of Michael Bisping which could cause the British fighter problems vision wise, after he was head kicked by Vitor Belfort when the pair met.

Michael Bisping via knockout.
