John Lineker V John Dodson: What will go down.

The main event of UFC Fight Night 96: sees a Bantamweight clash between Brazilian power puncher John Lineker and former Flyweight top contender, John ' The Magician' Dodson. Both men will spent into the octagon looking for a finish with both men possessing brutal knockout power. Lineker put on a striking clinic against Michael McDonald on his way to a KO victory over the American. Lineker also demonstrating his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu skills finishing Francisco Rivera on he ground with a guillotine choke after yet another fantastic striking display. Lineker has only been beaten twice under the UFC banner losing against Louis Gaudinot and Ali Bagautinov. A win for the #5 UFC Bantamweight fighter may set up a title eliminator against TJ Dillashaw with the current UFC Bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz defended to defend his belt against Cody 'No Love' Garbrandt before the end of the year. On the other hand, John Dodson has some of the fastest hands in the entire UFC, challenging twice for the UFC Flyweight championship against Demetrious 'Mighty Mouse' Johnson, but was unable to take the title from the P4P kingpins hands. Most recently, Dodson has tried his luck in the UFC Bantamweight division making easy work of Manvel Gamburyan scoring a dominating 37 KO victory, again demonstrating his power with just jabs and straights before landing a number of uppercuts to finish off the Armenian.
