Chelsea v Leicester City:
Antonio Conte's Chelsea side welcomed former manager Claudio Ranieri and Leicester to Stamford Bridge in one of the biggest games in the Premier League season so far. Conte was subject to rumours of a quick departure form The London club, but laughed off such claims earlier on in the week, while defending champions, Leicester, were in need of a win, it's only 2 heading into Saturday's game. Leicester once again displayed their frailties from corners early on, when an unmarked Diego Costa volleyed home past Kasper Schmeichel after Matic's tee up, to give the home side the lead inside 10 minutes. Former PSG defender, David Luiz, seen his free kick effort crash off the bar as Leicester looked rocked, before a lapse in concentration from Robert Huth and Luis Hernandez, allowed Eden Hazard to round Schmeichel and made it 2-0 just after the half hour mark. Claudio Ranieri must have really had an impact at the half time interval, as the defending champions made a blistering start to the second, with David Luiz deflecting onto the post as Leicester went close to finding a way back into the game. Former Leicester man N'Golo Kante nearly scored his first goal for Chelsea but former teammate Wes Morgan blocked off the line. Victor Moses capped off a solid Chelsea performance after he was played in brilliantly by Nathaniel Chalobah and the Nigerian slotted past Kasper Schmeichel to inflict a 3-0 defeat on Ranieri's Leicester.
