Dana White quashes GSP return rumours:

UFC president Dana White has again reiterated that former Welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre will not be making a return to the organisation's octagon. St-Pierre last fought in 2013, successfully defending his UFC Welterweight title against Johnny 'Big Rig' Hendricks before walking away from the sport. Three years later, rumours are rife about a potential return at UFC 206, with a possibles super fight with Anderson Silva suggested. White incredibly claimed that GSP was never "crazy about fighting when he was fighting", thus calling the Canadian's desire into question. Further fuel was added to the fire when Anderson Silva's son posted a picture of his father and St-Pierre together with the caption telling how the "Christmas month should be exciting". Dana White's comments on the situation must be taken with a pinch of salt as he had before denied fights, that just weeks later would be confirmed. White famously claimed how Brock Lesnar wouldn't be returning to the octagon, before the former UFC Heavyweight king made his ultimately controversial return at UFC 200. The president also told how UFC Lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez would not be fighting Conor McGregor, and instead Khabib Nurmagomedov, and just days later set up Alvarez and McGregor to headline UFC 205, while Nurmagomedov was matched up with Michael 'The Menace' Johnson on the New York card.
