Report: Kai Kara-France vs. Brandon Royval Targeted For UFC Event on September 26th.

An exciting flyweight matchup between rising New Zealand prospect, Kai Kara-France, and recent promotional signee, Brandon 'Raw Dawg' Royval is in the works for a UFC event on September 26th. - with a location and venue yet to be confirmed by the organization.

City Kickboxing product, Kara-France returned to winning ways in his last Octagon outing, scoring a unanimous decision win over Tyson Nam at UFC Fight Night Auckland in February. On a three-fight rise, former LFA flyweight titleholder, Royval debuted in the UFC with a stunning arm-triangle finish of one-time title challenger, Tim Elliott. Sources close to Markey Martial Arts confirmed the targeted matchup, requesting anonymity in the process - following an initial report by MMA Fighting reporter, Mike Heck.

Debuting in the organization back in December of 2018 - 27-year-old has managed a 3-1 record in the promotion since. In victories, Kara-France managed to overcome fellow upstarts, Raulian Paiva, and Mark de la Rosa - prior to a unanimous judging loss to former LFA bantamweight best, and top-contender, Brandon 'The Assassin Baby' Moreno. The defeat to Moreno at UFC 245 last December marked Kara-France's first blemish in seven professional walks.

factoryX Muay Thai trainee, Royval has managed to win four straight, with his most recent loss coming opposite fellow divisional prospect, Casey Kennedy when both featured under the LFA banner. The Denver, Colorado native holds an 11-4 professional record, with an eye-catching seven separate submission successes.
