Alex Caceres vs. Giga Chikadze Earmarked For UFC Vegas Event on August 8th.

A featherweight bout between longtime division mainstay, Alex 'Bruce Leeroy' Caceres, and Georgian kickboxing ace, Giga Chikadze is targeted for a UFC Fight Night event on August 8th. - from Las Vegas, Nevada.

Recent feature, Caceres most recently made the Octagon walk at UFC 250 in June, taking a unanimous judging win over division prospect, Chase Hooper in a relatively one-sided victory. So far promotional perfect, Tbilisi native, Chikadze made his last Octagon appearance at UFC Fight Night Jacksonville in May - taking another unanimous decision triumph over short-notice replacement, Irwin Rivera. Sources close to MMA Power Hour confirmed the matchup, requesting anonymity in the process, following an initial report by BJPENN.COM reporter, Alfredo Zullino.

Florida native, Caceres added Hooper to a prior win over Steven Peterson, extending his undefeated run to two-fights. The 32-year-old has featured in the promotion since March of 2011 and holds notable career wins over Damacio Page, Sergio Pettis, Cole Miller, Rolando Dy, and Martín Bravo.

Since his promotional debut last September, Kings MMA striker, Chikadze has managed to score three consecutive UFC victories. The 31-year-old has notched wins over Brandon Davis, and Jamall Emmers, both by split decision - as well as his above-noted win over Rivera. Chikadze featured on Dana White's Tuesday Night Contenders Series back in June of 2018 - dropping a submission loss to Austin Springer.
