Venum and the UFC have brokered a deal which will see the apparel provider, become the official exclusive provider of UFC Fight Kits and apparel from 2021. The outing apparel provider, Reebok - will continue to provide and create footwear for the UFC for the next calendar year, after their deal with the promotion expires in March.

From April of next year, Venum will begin providing official UFC Fight Kits to athletes and according to an official statement on the promotion's website, the UFC, "will adjust the pay scale tied to its Promotional Guidelines Compliance program, which will result in across the board increases for all athletes effective April 2021".

The split in revenue between the promotion and fighters has become a notorious sticking point since Reebok became official Fight Kit providers and apparel partners back in 2015 - with numerous competitors voicing their displeasure.

UFC president Dana White commented on the deal, explaining how the promotion was "pumped" to partner with Venum, before thanking the outgoing Reebok for their work.

"We're pumped that Venum will be joining us as our new exclusive global outfitting and apparel partner," White said. "Venum is an iconic combat sports brand that understands the unique needs of MMA athletes. Frank Dupuis (Venum founder) and his team at Venum have the technical knowledge and experience that will produce world-class UFC Fight Kits and apparel. We're looking forward to collaborating with them on this next evolution of UFC's outfitting program."

"We appreciate the partnership with Reebok over the past six years. It was a groundbreaking deal that elevated both of our brands. We're pleased that Reebok will continue with us as the official footwear provider of UFC through 2021."
