Mike Perry Believes He Beats "Skinny, Weak Little F*ck" Nate Diaz

Fresh from a comfortable decision shutout opposite talented grappler, Mickey Gall last weekend in Las Vegas - polarizing striker, 'Platinum' Mike Perry has thrown some barbs in the direction of fan-favourite contender, Nate Diaz.

Perry drew massive attention ahead of his welterweight tie with the aforementioned, Gall, as he selected a single figure in his corner come fight night, his girlfriend, Latory Gonzalez. Landing over one-hundred total strikes and securing a successful takedown against Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu grappler. Gall - the Michigan native returned to the win column after consecutive losses to Geoff Neal and Vicente Luque.

Although Saturday night's co-main event proved a successful outing with Gonzalez in his corner, Perry has hinted at a move to Florida in search for his next team - having split from Jackson-Wink MMA in Albuquerque.

Speaking with ESPN reporter, Ariel Helwani - Perry envisioned a potential clash with TUF 5 victor, Diaz - playing out similarly to his one-sided win over Gall.

"I think he's (Nate Diaz) a skinny, weak, little f*ck, like Mickey Gall," Perry said. "I respect what he's done in this sport. He plays the guard game, (Brazilian) Jiu-Jitsu, and sh*t. He thinks he can box with - little weak-ass punches that he's got - little salt and pepper punches. He doesn't stand a chance to hit me hard enough. I'd hit it on the feet - same way Jorge Masvidal did. I'd play his guard. I'd get half-guard, sit on top of him. It'd look exactly the same way the Mickey Gall fight did, to be honest with you. If you guys liked that fight, then yeah, you'll probably like the Nate Diaz fight too, because he's a little more durable. He'll probably try to stand there and box back with me, but my power punches - I'd just sit him down."

Stockton native, Diaz - currently sits at #11 in the official UFC welterweight pile, while Perry is yet to crack the top fifteen again since his string of defeats. The 35-year-old last featured at UFC 244 opposite the aforementioned, Masvidal - where he dropped a third-round doctor's stoppage in a BMF championship clash. In his earlier return to the Octagon last year, the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt took a unanimous judging against former UFC and WEC lightweight titleholder, Anthony Pettis.
