A meeting of middleweight strikers is in the works to feature on August 8th. at UFC Fight Night Vegas, as London born finisher, Darren 'The Dentist' Stewart looks to make his second Octagon appearance of the year, as he meets with the similarly returning, Maki 'Coconut Bombz' Pitolo.

In the headlining tie, Stewart dropped a unanimous decision.

Hawaiin upstart, Pitolo last made the Octagon walk at UFC 250 in June, finishing Charles Byrd in the opening round via strikes. News of the targeted 185-pound pairing was initially penned by MMA Junkie reporter, Nolan King.

In what would prove to be his tenth UFC appearance, Stewart looks to add to a promotional record which currently stands at 4-5-1. In Octagon victories, Stewart has also finished common opponent, Byrd, as well as talented grappler, Eric Spicely, and lodged decision wins over Deron Winn, and Bevon Lewis.

Returning to the winner's enclosure with his aforenoted victory over, Byrd - Pitolo looks to make it two wins in two when he stands opposite Stewart in August. Appearing on Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series back in July of last year, the 29=year-old managed a knockout of Justin Sumter. In his first UFC appearance, the West Oahu MMA mainstay dropped a unanimous judging defeat to Callan Potter at UFC 242 in Melbourne. Following the cancellation of a matchup with fellow prospect, Takashi Sato, Pitolo finally got off the mark in the UFC opposite, Byrd.
