Macy Chiasson vs. Sijara Eubanks Added to UFC Event on September 5th.

A bantamweight meeting of The Ultimate Fighter 28 victor, Macy Chiasson, and Sijara 'Sarj' Eubanks is set for a UFC Fight Night event on September 5th. - with a location and venue yet to be confirmed by the promotion.

New Orleans upstart, Chiasson last featured at UFC Fight Night Rio Rancho in February, returning to the win column in a unanimous decision win over Shanna Young. Massachusetts native, Eubanks also returned to winning ways last time out, taking a unanimous judging win over Sarah Moras at UFC Fight Night Jacksonville in May. News of the pairing was first reported by ESPN'sBrett Okamoto.

Chiasson, 28 - has established a 3-1 record in the UFC, since her rear-naked choke win over Pannie Kianzad in the finale of The Ultimate Fighter 28 featherweight tournament, and immediately tested bantamweight waters. In three wins, Chiasson bested Gina Mazany, common opponent, Moras, and the aforementioned Young - sandwiched between a defeat to Lina Länsberg. Chiasson teased a potential return to the bleak featherweight division, however, her tie with Eubanks is set for 135-pounds.

Former Invicta FC and TUF alumnus, Eubanks has managed to claim a 3-2 promotional record since her Octagon bow back in June of 2018. The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt has picked up high-profile victories over former Invicta FC bantamweight titleholder, 'Lucky' Lauren Murphy, as well as veteran fan-favourite, Roxanne Modafferi, adding to her aforenoted win over Moras. In losses under the organization's banner, Eubanks has dropped a second career defeat to perennial contender, Aspen Ladd, as well as one-time title challenger, Bethe Correia.
