| Artem Lobov faces toughest test to date with Cub Swanson battle. |
Experienced American Featherweight 'Killer' Cub Swanson will feature alongside Russian striker Artem Lobov in the main event of a UFC Fight Night in April. Swanson, fresh from a decision win in an absolute barn burner against Doo Ho Choi at UFC 206, will face recent rising star Artem 'The Russian Hammer' Lobov who himself, put on an impressive display at UFC 202 against Chris Avila, before picking up another decision win agaisnt Teruto Ishihara at UFC Fight Night Belfast. Swanson, a dangerous striker and the #4 ranked Featherweight, may have thought he would be next in line to face José Aldo or Max Holloway for the Featherweight title, will now have to go though Straight Blast Gym trainee and Conor McGregor sparring partner Artem Lobov, whom seems to have talked his way into this main event slot with 'Killer' Cub. Both men traded barbs on social media with Lobov questioning Swanson's willingness to accept the 13-12 fighters challenge.
