Glover Teixeira V Jared Cannonier: What will go down:

New Light Heavyweight prospect Cannonier, would make a huge statement with a win over Teixeira.
Experienced Brazilian striker Glover Teixeira faces up and coming American Light Heavyweight Jared Cannonier at UFC 208 in Brooklyn this weekend. Teixeira is looking to recuperate from a demolishing 13 second stoppage at the hands of UFC 210 headliner Anthony 'Rumble' Johnson, with a win against 10-1 Dallas native, Cannonier. 37 year-old Teixeira, has picked up career defining victories over Marvin Eastman, Sokoudjou, Ricco Rodriguez and former UFC Light Heavyweight champs Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson and 'Suga' Rashad Evans, while 'The Killa Gorilla' Cannonier, looked impressive in his last outing against Ion Cutelaba, showboating for the remainder of the fights last round, on his way to a decision victory over the Moldovan. Glover is a legitimate knockout artist, holding 15 career wins via that method, but is also a wily grappler, and is in fact a 2nd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, demonstrated in his submission wins over Ovince Saint-Preux, James Te Hauna and Kyle Kingsbury in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Although Jared holds a distinctive age advantage over Glover at 32 years of age, expect Teixeira to be no push over, but another factor is the brutal KO suffered last time out against Johnson, which may give Cannonier some hope with his precise power shots evident from the second round on against Cutelaba. Another obvious chink in the armour of Cannonier, is his poor takedown defence, which was on display in the first round of his last bout, something that may entice Teixeira to take this fight to the mat to utilise his superior grappling.

Glover Teixeira via submission.
