UFC 209 sees an exciting Featherweight clash between Darren Elkins, and renowned youngest Mirsad Bektić. Experienced Indiana native Elkins, is currently the #11 ranked 145er, and a convincing win would see him venture into the top 10 of the division, and extend his win streak to 4. Elkins moved to the Featherweight division back in June 2011, after a armbar loss to Charles Oliveira, despite a previous win over now popular coach Duane 'Bang' Ludwig. Bosnian striker Bektić on the otherhand has steadily climbed the Featherweight rankings, and is currently 11-0, scoring 5 impressive knockout wins, and winning a unanimous decision against Paul 'Redser' Redmond in the Dublin native's Ultimate Fighting Championship debut. Bektić may find himself under the kosh if any grappling affairs are to ensue, but his power and striking should lead him to a win over the 32 year-old Elkins.
