Jack Marshman V Thiago Santos: What will go down:

Jack Marshman faces stern test in second octagon bout against Brazil's Thiago Santos.
UFC Fight Night Halifax, sees a interesting Middleweight matchup between exciting organisation newcomer Jack Marshman, and spectacular striker, Thiago Santos. Welsh favourite Marshman, competed for the first time in a UFC octagon last November at UFC Fight Night Belfast, picking up an impressive second round KO of Magnus Cedenblad to improve his professional record to 21-5. The former Cage Warriors Middleweight crown holder, is also a deadly striker holding 13 wins by knockout and is also capable of a finish on the mat, forcing the tap from 5 of his opponents. Arriving from the highly regarded European Cage Warriors promotion, big things are expected of the 27 year-old, who's first real test in the octagon will come against Brazilian Thiago Santos. Rio de Janeiro native Santos, is a black belt in Muay Thai and is also extremely capable of a knockout finish, stopping the likes of Steve Bossé, Ronny Markes and former Strikeforce Welterweight champ Nate 'The Great' Marquardt. 'Marreta' is on a two fight slide since his win over Marquardt, dropping a KO loss to Gegard Mousasi at UFC 200, before being submitted by Eric Spicely last September on home soil. Due to the current form of Marshman and the fact that Thiago has been stopped in his last two endeavours into the octagon, expect the Welshman to come away with the win.

Jack Marshman via knockout.
