Cláudia Gadelha to meet Karolina Kowalkiewicz at UFC 212:

Brazilian star Gadelha, looked incredible against Courtney Casey last time out as she picked up another W.
Phenomenal UFC Women's Strawweight contenders Cláudia Gadelha and Polish striker Karolina Kowalkiewicz are set to go to war at UFC 212, in what could prove to a 115lbs title eliminator, with current division queen Joanna Jędrzejczyk defending her crown at UFC 211 against Brazilian puncher Jéssica Andrade. Both Gadelha and Kowalkiewicz have been afforded the opportunity at Joanna's title. Cláudia on two separate occasions lost a close decision, with her second bout for the 115lbs crown. Fellow Pole Karolina, arguably pushed Joanna the closest in her undefeated career back at UFC 205, tagging Jędrzejczyk multiple times throughout, and producing a large haematoma over the champs eye at the fights gruelling conclusion. Gadelha, a three time BJJ world champion, and first degree black belt under the renowned André Pederneiras, has finished 6 of her 14 career wins by submission, really highlighting her grappling prowess. Kowalkiewicz on the otherhand, is a definite volume over power puncher, and was 10-0 heading into her Strawweight showdown. Kowalkiewicz burst onto the UFC scene in December 2015, beating Randa Markos, before wins over Heather Jo Clark and Rose Namajunas instated her into the title picture.
