| Can 'The Spartan' make it four from four in Canada? |
Ultimate Fighter winners Elias 'The Spartan' Theodorou and Cezar 'Mutante' Ferreira square off at UFC Fight Night Halifax, in an exciting Middleweight matchup. Knockout artist and Canadian favourite Theodorou, has been quite impressive since his TUF Nations success, finishing Roger Narvaez, and last time out, took 'Smilin'' Sam Alvey the distance on his way to a unanimous decision win back in June. 12-1 in his professional career, Elias has scored an impressive 5 knockout victories, and will be seeking a 6th KO win, when he faces 3rd degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Ferreira. 'Mutante' the victor of The Ultimate Fighter Brazil:, holds notable success against Andrew Craig, Thiago Santos and Oluwale Bamgbose since that career highlight, but in my opinion, this test against Theodorou will be too much for the Brazilian grappler. Ferreira has been stopped before, dropping first round knockouts to Sam Alvey, Jorge Masvidal, Elvis Mutapcic and C.B. Dollaway, and with Elias' slick standup, I can see an early knockout in favour of 'The Spartan'.
