Kamaru Usman, Jorge Masvidal Involved In Altercation At Super Bowl Media Day

Both Usman and Masvidal exchanged verbals at today's Super Bowl LIV media day.

An altercation between reigning UFC welterweight champion, Kamaru 'The Nigerian Nightmare' Usman, and streaking contender, Jorge 'Gamebred' Masvidal occurred at a Super Bowl LIV media day in Miami, Florida on Wednesday evening.

Both men have been on an apparent collision course following Usman's successful title defense against Colby Covington, and Masvidal's doctor's stoppage and BMF championship win over Nate Diaz in November, respectively. Both men have traded barbs toward each other on various forms of social media and outlets over the course of the previous month - with the tension between the two continuing to boil during interviews at a Super Bowl media day. Footage of the verbal back-and-forth between the pair was captured by For The Win's, Andy Nesbit.


Both men exchanged verbals during the heated squabble as security at the event prevented both men from engaging physically.

"Do something," Usman said to Masvidal and security corralled the two rivals. "That's all I hear you talking. Do something. You come up talking. Do something."

"You got a cast on, bi**h," Masvidal responded. "I ain't going to take advantage of you like that man. You got a cast on, bi**h. You (sic) lucky. That's the only reason nothing's happening."

Later in the day, Usman took to his official Twitter account where he continued his verbal onslaught against the Florida based striker.

"Lil' bi**h brought his camera to try and flex and act hard. I was dolo and if you wanted to do something you could have tried but you didn't lol 😂 #youplayedyourself #cloutchaser #tookanotherL
