Nate Diaz Urges Conor McGregor, Joe Rogan To Apologize To Stephen A. Smith

Stockton fan-favorite, Nate Diaz, has come to the defense of the high-scrutinized ESPN analyst, Stephen A. Smith - calling for former opponent and two-weight world champion, 'The Notorious' Conor McGregor, and UFC colour commentator, Joe Rogan, to issue an apology to the 52-year-old.
Smith received some significant criticism for his post-fight analysis of Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone's performance at UFC 246, insinuating that the veteran kickboxer "quit" during his forty-second knockout defeat to McGregor. The Bronx native then retaliated against Rogan's comments, insisting that his opinion on the performance was, in fact, correct - and called the comedian's opinion on his mixed-martial-arts knowledge into question.
Beneath his video response to Rogan, Conor McGregor explained how Smith was correct in his opinion that he didn't show enough during the forty-second bout, to make people believe he could do the same to Jorge Masvidal or Khabib Nurmagomedov - but also noted that the ESPN analyst didn't address the comments Rogan was referring to - and called for him to apologize to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, Rogan and UFC 246 opponent, Cerrone.
"The call you discuss here is A+," McGregor responded to Smith on Twitter. "I didn't show enough. I'm not paid by the hour though. Joe's (Rogan) comments (sic) however, come from you saying the opposition fighter quit. Broken nose/orbital bone say (sic) different. Fighting is vicious. Those who make the walk deserve full respect! Apologize."
Taking to his official Twitter account last night, The Ultimate Fighter victor, Diaz, called for both McGregor and Rogan to instead, apologize to Smith.
"(Joe) Rogan and Conor (McGregor) should give Stephen (A.) Smith a (sic) apology he said what it was. The fight was over before it started. Get off each others (sic) nuts."
Diaz last competed at UFC 244 in November of last year, losing via a third-round doctor's stoppage due to a nasty cut on his right eyebrow, in a BMF championship clash with Jorge Masvidal. The Cesar Gracie Jiu-Jitsu product's opinion follow McGregor's comments at his UFC 246 post-fight press conference, where he called for a potential trilogy bout with the Californian. When questioned about his next possible opponent and if Diaz was in the picture, McGregor responded; "Let's go, Nathan (Diaz). Let's go, brother."
