Anthony Pettis misses weight by 3 pounds for Interim UFC Featherweight title bout:

Former UFC Lightweight champ, Anthony 'Showtime' Pettis has missed the Featherweight weigh in limit by 3 pounds, after he came in at 148lbs, ahead of his UFC Interim Featherweight title bout against fellow top contender Max 'Blessed' Holloway. It is now believed that only Holloway will be able to take the Interim title tomorrow night, with Pettis also be for fitting 20% of his fight purse to Holloway. This marks the second shift up to the UFC 206 card, after Daniel Cormier was forced to pull out of his UFC Light Heavyweight against Anthony 'Rumble' Johnson, after suffering a groin injury. The meeting between Holloway and Pettis, was promote during to the main event, and after Pettis' weight cutting failure, only Holloway can now take the title. Pettis' chance to become a two  champion in the Ulitmate Fighting Championship has also been put on hold for the foreseeable future.
