Dana White tells how Cris 'Cyborg' turned down 145lbs title shots:

UFC President and all round controversial personality, Dana White has told how current Invicta 145lbs champion Cris 'Cyborg' has turned down two Featherweight title bouts in the UFC, against former UFC Women's Bantamweight champion Holly 'The Preacher[s] Daughter' Holm and Dutch kick boxer Germaine de Randamie. Cyborg, who has featured twice under the Ulitmate Fighting Championship banner, against Leslie Smith and Lina Lansberg, picking up stoppage victories against both, told how she will never be capable of making the 135lbs limit to compete at Bantamweight, forcing her two contests to be competed at a Catchweight of 140lbs, due to a lack of a Women's Featherweight division in the UFC. White told how he had offered Brazil's 'Cyborg' the chance to compete for the inaugural UFC Women's Featherweight title at UFC 208 in Brooklyn against de Randamie, but subsequently turned down the bout. White confirmed how Justino informed the UFC that it wasn't healthy for her to compete at 140lbs, and how she wouldn't be willing to make the weight again, after a brutal, well documented weight cut for her UFC Fight Night Brazil, bout against Lina Lansberg. 'Cyborg' told how renowned nutritionist George Lockhart, wasn't "effective" during the weight cutting process, surprising, granted Lockhart is the chosen nutritionist for UFC star Conor McGregor, and also has experience working with Jon Jones and Bellator fighter Rory MacDonald. Justino did however confirm, that she needs some time off in order to allow her body to recover, and expects to return to the octagon, whether with Invicta or the UFC, in March.
