Nate Diaz issued $50,000 fine for UFC 202 bottle throwing incident:

UFC 196 and 202 main eventer Nate Diaz, has been slapped with a $50,000 fine from the Nevada State Athletic Comission, for his involvement in the UFC 202 pre fight press conference bottle throwing fiasco along with UFC Lightweight champion Conor McGregor. McGregor, appeared to the press conference almost a half an hour late, when Nate seemed to be called off stage by older brother Nick, before making his way to the gantry with the fellow 'Scrap Pack'  members, hiding a water bottle behind his back. Diaz then produced the water bottle, launching it toward McGregor's entourage and his partner Dee Devlin. McGregor responded by firing back water bottles before grabbing two Monster Energy cans, hurling them toward Diaz's team. An October hearing seen McGregor handed a $150,000 fine for his antics. McGregor is as of yet, to pay the fine, recently stating how he plans on bringing NSAC to court over the hefty fine. If McGregor decides against paying the fine, it may leave him unable to compete in Las Vegas, Nevada until he pays the fine, or comes to some sort of agreement with the Nevada State Athletic Comission.
