José Aldo prefers Lightweight rematch with Conor McGregor:

Former UFC P4P king José Aldo, has once more expressed his interest in taking on former foe, 'The Notorious' Conor McGregor, but has insisted that the second battle must take place in McGregor's recently conquered Lightweight division. Aldo, who was recently promoted to the undisputed Featherweight champion, after losing to Dublin's McGregor at UFC 194, last competed at UFC 200, displaying a patient striking technique, on the way to a decision victory over former Lightweight champ Frankie Edgar, picking up the Interim Featherweight title in the process. The most sensible bout to make next for Aldo, has to be a Featherweight title unification bout against recently crowned UFC Interim Featherweight Champion Max 'Blessed' Holloway, who scored a third round knockout over Anthony 'Showtime' Pettis at for UFC 206, for UFC 208, with the winning facing McGregor, thus allowing both men a chance at redemption over SBG's star. Aldo told how he may decline other fights if he is not offered the McGregor rematch next, but interestingly, insisted that the rematch must take place at Lightweight. We must take into consideration that Aldo has competed at 155lbs once in his career, coincidentally resulting in his first of two career losses with Luciano Acevedo winning via rear naked choke at Jungle Fight 5. In my opinion, Aldo's push for a Lightweight contest, may be due to the fear of possibly losing his Featherweight title for a second time to 'The Notorious'.
