Mirko Cro Cop labels Wanderlei Silva a 'chicken' after RIZIN fallout:

Croatian kickboxer Mirko Filipovic has put former Pride FC Middleweight king pin Wanderlei Silva on blast telling how the Brazilian was a 'chicken', after it was announced that his fellow MMA pioneer pulled out of his scheduled bout with Cro Cop, with the pair expected to square off at the RIZIN Open Weight Tournament later in December. Former UFC Heavyweight Cro Cop scored a trademark head kick KO against 'The Axe Murderer' when the pair met in Pride FC in 2006, their second bout after the 2002 draw. Cro Cop took to his official Facebook page to suggest Silva should change his name from 'Braveheart' to 'Chicken', clearly upset with the Brazilian's decision to pull out from the bout. The December 29th card also sees former UFC Heavyweight Shane Carwin featured against Iranian Amir Aliakbari, while the final round of the tournament sees Kron Gracie face Tatsuya Kawajiri, with MMA favourite Charles 'Crazy Horse' Bennett also featuring. Another 'freak show' of a contest, reminiscent of the Pride FC days, sees Brazil native Gabi Garcia, a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu face 52 year-old Shinobu Kandori, who hasn't fought in 16 years.
