Junior Dos Santos and Stefan Struve headline UFC Halifax:

Former UFC Heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos 'Cigano' will meet once again against Dutch favourite Stefan 'Skyscraper' Struve in the main event of UFC Halifax on the 19th of February, 2017. 'JDS' returned to the win column against Ben Rothwell in his last contest, after a TKO loss to MMA legend Alistair Overeem, while Stevan Struve is on a two fight win streak, finishing both Antonio 'Bigfoot' Silva and securing a D'arce choke win over Daniel Omielańczuk at UFC 204 in Manchester. Both men have faced each other before, with Dos Santos beating Struve via KO in the first minute of their UFC 95 bout. 'Cigano' is regarded by many as one of the greatest UFC Heavyweights of all time, holding wins over former fellow champion Cain Velasquez, current Heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic, Mark Hunt, Shane Carwin, and superb grapplers Frank Mir and Fabricio 'Vai Cavalo' Werdum. A win for Stefan Struve would most certainly reignite his quest for the UFC championship, with the 7 foot tall fighter, holding a TKO win over Stipe Miocic.
