Amanda Nunes smashes Ronda Rousey in first minute TKO:
The main event of UFC 207, seen the long awaited return of MMA superstar and former UFC Women's Bantamweight champion 'Rowdy' Ronda Rousey, as she challenged Brazilian champ Amanda Nunes. Nunes dominated Miesha Tate back at UFC 200 to claim the title, while Rousey last competed over a year ago, losing to Holly Holm via a brutal second round head kick knockout. Expect Nunes to utilise her superior boxing skills and all round more advanced and experienced standup game, while Rousey will look to apply her Olympic level Judo and her patented arm bar submission. Vastly experienced referee Herb Dean got us underway for the first of five scheduled rounds. Nunes landed a good teep to the body before landing huge shots to a defenceless Rousey, who forced Herb Dean to step in with less than a minute gone in the bout. Nunes retains.
