Sage Northcutt V Mickey Gall: What will go down.
The co-main event of UFC Fight Night Sacramento, sees a Welterweight clash between young exciting up and comers 'Super' Sage Northcutt and Mickey Gall. Northcutt, bounced back from a submission loss to Bryan Barberena, picking up a decision win against Enrique Marin at UFC 200, while Mickey Gall, at UFC 203, gave former WWE star CM Punk a rude awakening in the Chicago natives first MMA contest, dominating for the complete fight, before securing a rear-naked choke finish in the first round. After the contest, Gall took to the mic where he asked to take on Sage Northcutt in his next UFC appearance. A major amount of 'hype' and buzz is surrounding both, particularly Northcutt, who has been tipped for stardom in the near future. A black belt in karate from an early age has only been defeated once in his professional MMA career, holding an unde 15-0 kickboxing record. Sage who began his journey in MMA at only 4 years old, and was discovered on Dana White's Looking For A Fight. A win for Gall would really skyrocket his UFC career, while a Northcutt loss or win will only leave his disliking fans waiting for the very talented 20 year old to fail. Ultimately, the deciding factor of this bout may come down to how Sage can deal with Gall's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt, and how Mickey Gall can avoid Sage's superior standup.
