Ray Borg's wrestling pedigree proves too much for a poor looking Louis Smolka:

The opening bout of the UFC 207 main card in Las Vegas, seen Flyweight contenders Louis Smolka and Ray Borg square off, with the latter missing the 125lbs Flyweight weight limit by more than 3 pounds. Both men are coming off disappointing losses, with Borg losing to Justin Scoggins, while Brandon Moreno shocked the Hawaii native, earning a first round guillotine finish. Dan Miragliotta, the man in the middle got us underway in the first of three scheduled rounds. Smolka started well using his jab cleverly early on. Borg slipped when attempting a high kick. Smolka's urgency almost got him in trouble as Borg attempted a D'arce, but switched to a rear-naked choke which he eventually lost. Smolka was barely on his feet when Borg slammed him to the mat. Borg then tried and failed with an Omoplata attempt, with Smolka defending well. First round to Borg. Borg then missed with a wheel kick attempt at the beginning of the second, before Borg tripped Smolka and then wound up in full mount after a scramble from Smolka. Borg then landed a huge right hand on the leg lock attempting Smolka, forcing him to think twice. Smolka then lost a guillotine attempt with less than a minute left in the second round. Another round to Ray Borg. Borg told how he was suffering from an ankle injury before landing another takedown at the start of the third and final round. Borg then nearly secured another submission finish, coming close to putting Smolka to sleep with a tight arm triangle. Borg then tried a flying rear-naked choke which Smolka defended. Another comfortable round for Ray Borg. Borg deservedly picked up a unanimous decision victory.
