Chris Weidman V Yoel Romero: What will go down.

Former UFC Middleweight champion Chris 'The All American' Weidman, faces Cuban wrestler Yoel 'Soldier of God' Romero in a potential UFC Middleweight title eliminator. Weidman was scheduled to face Luke Rockhold in a rematch for the title, but was forced from the event after sustaining a neck injury, and will now look to get back to winning ways against Romero, to set up a title bout against current title holder Michael 'The Count' Bisping. Former Olympic wrestler Romero, returns from a 6 month suspension by USADA after he was flagged by the agency for a potential anti-doping violation. Romero last beat Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner Ronaldo 'Jacare' Souza before being sidelined. Chris Weidman holds notable wins over the GOAT Anderson SIlva and Lyoto Machida, but a UFC 194 title loss to Luke Rockhold, has shattered his confidence. The phenomenal wrestler will look to test his skills against the equally impressive wrestler Romero when the pair clash at UFC 205. Both men are also capable of one punch KO's, with Weidman knocking out Anderson Silva, and Romero, rather controversially finishing Tim Kennedy.

Chris Weidman via unanimous decision.
