Mid way through the third and final round, Chookagian scored a great knockdown in change the tide of the contest, landing a huge headkick, before Carmouche seen a fourth takedown though. Chookagian was having a much better third round, landing some decent shots to really give the onlooking judges something to ponder about. A late takedown attempt from Carmouche was lately stuffed by Chookagian, as the opening fight of UFC 205 went the distance. The judges handed a decision victory to former UFC Women's Bantamweight challenger Liz Carmouche.
