Ricardo Lamas v Charles Oliviera: What will go down.

UFC Featherweight contenders Ricardo 'The Bully' Lamas will matchup against Brazilian Charles 'Do Bronx' Oliviera at The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America 3 finale. A spanner was thrown into the work before the fight even occurred with Oliviera missing the 145lbs weight limit by an astonishing 9 pounds. Lamas and his team agreed to fight at a catch weight of 155lbs, but stressed that the fight would be cancelled if Oliviera weighs more than 165lbs the day of the 3 round bout. Oliviera has a history of missing weight, coming in heavier against Efrain Escudero, Cub Swanson, Jeremy Stephens, and Myles Jury in his UFC career. Oliviera, a former Lightweight and Welterweight fighter earlier in his career, may think about a move back to the Lightweight division if he cannot make the 145lbs limit. Lamas, now 34 years old, has faced former Featherweight champion José Aldo for the strap back in 2014, but came up short against the Brazilian. A recent loss to Max Holloway has disrupted his pursuit of a title shot, with a recent win against Diego Sanchez propelling him into a clash with Holloway. Both men hold exceptional grappling skills, with both men Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt holders, while Oliviera focuses on the traditional chokes, Lamas tends to target limb and joint submissions. Oliviera welcomed former UFC Lightweight Champion Anthony 'Showtime' Pettis to the Featherweight division, with the the American locking in a guillotine to set up a potential Featherweight title eliminator against Max Holloway at UFC 206.

Ricardo Lamas via unanimous decision
