Hall won the pair's first meeting, scoring a spinning back kick and flying knee KO as he upset the odds in Japan. Mousasi last beat Vitor Belfort at UFC 204 in Manchester, scoring a vicious knockout stoppage. The fight took a drastic turn for the worse for Uriah Hall when a scramble resulted with Gegard Mousasi gaining back side control, before raining down with strikes as Uriah Hall, according to the referee, wasn't intelligently defending himself, thus calling an end to the contest, Mousasi gets redemption.
